Courses & Information

What is LeAFE?

LeAFE stands for Learning Approaches For Everyone as we believe that it is vital that we, as professionals look at how we can create and modify our approaches to support our children with their anxieties and behaviours.

It gives professionals a chance to help both children and themselves to turn over a new LeAFE.

All our courses are accredited by CPD UK - Europe's largest accreditation body, who also accredit courses by the NHS, UCL and Oxford University.

Our courses and methodology follow the RRN charter and LeAFE Training Ltd are members of BILD and so ensure that our training meets and exceeds the needs of even the most vulnerable of pupils.

We are proud of our input into the upcoming 2026 guidance on Restrictive Practice, where the DfE have used our expertise in supporting schools across the UK.

We are also proud associates of White Ribbon - promising never to use, excuse or remain silent about men's violence against women.

When trained and accredited, you gain access to our Members Section, where you can see who is trained, who needs to be refreshed, downloadable reminders for staff rooms etc, as well as access to video demonstrations of each hold, so you can refresh your memory throughout the year.

We also ensure that you are kept up to date on any changes in the law or practice throughout the year. The dashboard has updated policy advice, including how to implement the Restrictive Interventions, including use of reasonable force April 2026, any changes to holds and recording.

We also offer our own Bound Books for ensuring you are compliant with the latest changes within recording.

Why not get in touch of more information and turn over a new LeAFE?

LeAFE Supportive Handling

LeAFE have been at the forefront of supportive handling practice for many years.

Our full day training course, fully embracing the ethos of BILD and RRN and taking into full account the recent upcoming guidance for restrictive practice 2026, supports your teams and you as a school, in providing the very best tools in de-escalation.

Our rationale is to ensure that your teams have the best support possible - so when you've been trained and continue to go through your annual refreshers, you can access our support and guidance throughout the year - free of charge!

We have been a key player in the new guidance (and the previous 2024 report) and have been highlighted by the DfE and OFSTED for our exemplary training and practice.

Why wouldn't you want your communities to have the best? Why not get in touch?

LeAFE Behaviour Bespoke

We offer bespoke training and consultancy to schools who are looking for a deeper impactful change.

We have worked with a large number of schools and MATS in improving policy, processes, recording and ethos whilst delivering skills to staff, at all levels, ensuring that they are confident in managing the vast majority of situations they face.

These days are fully tailored to your schools needs and you receive a full review of provision and how, working together, it can be improved.

LeAFE Behaviour

We understand that for some schools and organisations, there needs to be a change of understanding and culture … why do the children do this? Our courses are fun, practical and help staff understand what they can do to make things better.

Our behaviour training can be delivered as twilight, half day, full day and keynote/conference.

"Good students behave... great students disrupt."
